Anyway, both have classic mixtape catalogues and somewhat disappointing debut albums. I give K.R.I.T the edge with the tapes (haven't heard the new one) and think Cole's debut was slightly better. But both are talented producers and MCs. You fukk nikkas have ruined any discussion of Jay or Nas with the constant need to compare them. Keep that shyt away from the new nikkas. If you're too dense to assess talent on an individual basis then just stick to Ronnie's rhyme scheme threads

Well I agree that KRIT's overall production shyts on J. Cole's even though Cole will still drop a jewel every now and then.
Rapping wise I think they on a pretty equal.
But outside the producer/rapper title I just don't normally compare those two.
I just wish that the South would rally behind Big KRIT cause its still alot of people who don't listen or like him that much out here which is

Cole released 2 classic mixtapes and a ok album, im rocking wit cole, I dont think def jam will approve another krit album unless he comes wit a hit, krit and cole both dropped classic mixtapes, and ok/watever albums
But u make this same thread everytime cole start picking uo steam, wtf is wrong wit u dude, u in every cole thread made on this site since u joined, saying the same shyt, if u dont like the nikka, why u keep checking for him, and then u get mad at people to listen to cole and say he tricked us, something wrong wit u my dude, cole album was better also
Both cole and krit was on the same mixtape grind, cole was bigger and got better fan reception, now they on they album grind and its the same thing
And his beats are average when he cant sample like that, so his mixtapes will always be better than his album, and he never be able to clear samples cause he dont bring the label enough money in return

i know thats why like back in the day the dipset mixtapes were my shyt but when i bought di from best buy.....

Kendrick Lamar went from hip hops savior to garbage industry plant over night, that's how it goes. Nobody was talking about J. Cole 2 months ago. He was an afterthought. The minute he dropped a hot song and shot straight up the billboard, how trash and boring he is suddenly became the hot topic again
