those were the days.........there was one spot on Sunset back in the day that had a nice little setup and would give out drinks, edibles and would even let you sample before you buy......it was an old house so if you got in good with the owners you could head upstairs and smoke in one of the rooms........I smoked with Tommy Chong at that spot.......that bruh is hilarious......had the entire room cracking up........you def need to check out cali. my boy @keithfj came and paid me a visit a cpl years ago, ask him he'll come in here and vouch for cali. He's a big pot smoker, so I hyped him up, he came down and he was like. I try to tell people. they dont wanna listen. If you know someone in cali with a card, ask him to take you on a dispensary tour, you'll have a lot of fun. get some weed lollipops too, them shyts are potent as fukk.
. I went to Ohio and brought them some chocolates from cali, had everyone on stupid mode. Literally we're lost from the airport going to HIS house AND the nikka had GPS.
Folks were coming over to try, and getting crushed.
I knew dispensaries in hollywood back in the day that would give out free cookies and slices of pizza while we smoke out in the patio, felt like I was in Holland, and people across the country had no idea cali was getting down like that, present day its out in the open tho. but back then it was like an underground thing, the early days were fun. You'd always drive by a tinted, what appears to be abandoned store with a green cross out front and just knew what that was going on.now we have them within 3 miles of each other in damn near every key location and county.

You should try some chocolate from a place in the valley called Ash Moon. They got raided so I don't know if theyre still open or moved, but there's an app that has all dispensaries laid out on the google maps so Im sure you can find it once you get to ventura blvd. those chocolates were the highest ive ever been in my life, Im talkin 12 hours straight.Yeah Power is hard to find now......you may have to hit and OC spot to find some......I know a grower out in Huntington Beach that still grows it......he also has a strain called Vietnamese Black that is.................
The lollipops they sell got me through long drives to AZ. Best edibles hands down. I dont know what they use but my god.

yup, back in the day you could sample and all that.
they used to give out free refreshments, you could chill, chop it up, you'd see people that you'd never think smoked, Im talkin district attorneys still wearing their business attire and all that. I remember seeing Rosie O'Donnell come out of my local dispensary with a bag full of those chocolates I was talking about, literally a shopping bag full, like she was santa. apparently she would pass them out to the crew on her show.

it was bruh........I just purchased from downstairs........Romulan Supreme & Banana Bread........headed upstairs and I heard people laughing in one of the rooms so I opened the door and Tommy was standing behind it and the first thing I hear is "heeey man!".......and I know I had heard that voice before and right away I was like "Oh shyt, waddup Tommy!!".......bruh was like you gotta pack a bowl since you intruded into the spot.......I was like no prob.......I packed the bowl and he sprinkled some hash on there.......he took the first hit and the hash just lit up........passed it my way and said "watch out on that one"........then I heard him tell a story about one of his crazy fans trying to fukk him......shyt was hilarious.......

GSC wasn't anything special for me. Some crazy strains I've come across lately have been Holy Grail OG, Pluto OG, Don Vito OG and Caviar Gold anything.

Cali is just on another level when it comes to weedculture... I agree you can find great weed anywhere, but I don't think Ive ever smoked bad weed since I've lived here... It is in great abundance her and the innovation is astounding. When I first moved here, I was smoking grapes and the shyt had me beaming up to the starship enterprise... my crony is all like "this shyt is pretty weak my dude"

When it comes to weed, Colorado, King county (Seattle/Washington state), Florida, and even places like Utah and Montana are pretty tops when it comes to trees, but Cali really open my eyes to a lot of shyt...
