If you make $86K and have a mortgage + kids, is it a good idea to buy a $70K car?

Thats some high ass insurance. Especially if you own a house and can get bundled discounts.

Or maybe yall got trash driving records.

Or maybe my car aint close to $70K so I'm speaking out my ass :dame:

A lot of these nikkas don't give a fukk about how their kids are gonna pay for college, let alone passing anything down to them. . Their kids are gonna "inherit" their daddy's bills, his clothes and Jordans :coffee:

Riding around the city in a fly whip, meanwhile their baby mama struggling to put food on the table

If you're a selfish nikka, don't have kids

U right.... it's more like $150/mo... actually not bad at all :lupe:

Depends where you are though.... ~10 yrs ago I was paying $350/mo for liability only on a 99 Maxima in NYC. U can def pay 4 figures on a POS out there :krs:

I make more than that and have no kids and live in a cheaper insurance area and I'm struggling w/ the idea purchasing a car in the $70K range.

I did some calculations on a 2016 Audi S4 and it was close to $900 a month.

I set a lifetime limit of 40k on any car I buy, spending 70k is definitely out of the question especially if its my everyday driver.

I was appalled when someone told me they were paying 500$/month for their rides, I learned to stay in my financial lane even with no kids and mortgage I couldn't see myself being that dumb:mjlol:

Seems like you have preconceived notions about black peoples that contributed to your post.

The answer is hell no. I'm well into 6 figures and I have no car note. It's greater later brehs...stack that 1200 plus another $300 insurance, get with a lady that does the same and retire at 45. Then get whatever ride you want and not slave for it.

Making 86k and spending 70k on a ride is pure stupidity
