You can compare accolades, but as far as skills go Kobe at 27 was a better player than Bron at 27. He was. Kobe just happened to be in a league at a time with a prime top 3 center of all time, 3 prime top 10 PF of all time and a Nash stat padding his way to an MVP. Lebron James' points/stats happen right now based on dude being an athletic beast and this has been the case all the way back to high school. Kobe is still ticking at 34 because his game was never really about being faster/bigger/stronger than everyone else. When Kobe retires and also when Bron retires then you can open up this can of worms again because honestly no one knows how Bron will react in 2-3 years when all those playoff miles and age catch up to the dude.
