There's a McDonalds who wanted to hire cashiers, and a college degree was a requirement. Dont confuse those who go to college and get degrees in basketweaving with those who get degrees which directly lead to a profession. If your getting a degree in English, might as well drop out and learn a trade. But if you want to be an Engineer, Lawyer, Doctor, etc you have to be college educated. How do you plan on starting a business without an education or funding? Who will invest in someone who's uneducated? For every Bill Gates or Steve Jobs, there are millions of Pookie Loc's who dropped out and never did anything resembling success in their lives.
