If I remember correctly, in a drunken rant @pugnathemighty AKA @blacksands was quoted as saying his dream was to have Mel Gibson (Yes, racist ranting, alcoholic Mel Gibson) direct an episode of Black Sands. He really liked him as a director and hoped that what he did with Braveheart could be done for Black Sands.
This was during Shark Tank/The Breakfast Club. Folks of course, were asking him to walk that back, but he doubled down.
After that, I have no idea what happened with the whole Blackmailing thing. I just know he dipped and never came back
