with all the information we now have about how unsafe these foods are, millions still spend every single day consuming this trash they call food. mcdonalds, burger king, chick fil a, popeyes, wendy's, doritos, pepsi,coke, pizza hut, etc. none of this shyt is good for your body. much it is made with ingredients that are damn near toxic. they all contribute to obesity and related ailments (diabetes and more). i look at people walking out the sub shop with their cheeseburger or pizza, and i feel :scusthov: i mean, the shyt has me going :mindblown: at times. i've actually lost friends because i tried to tell them how disgusting their diets were. they thought i was being a snotty and uppity negro. nah, i'm just trying to open your eyes to what you're doing to your body.

I only mention it because a 6 inch chicken teriyaki is 370 calories. But their website lists that none of the sandwiches include cheese or dressing in their caloric assessments.
So you can bet someone with a footlong is looking at 800+ calories, not including the drink and chips (if they get it). And if they do, you're looking at 1,000.

Sorry to pick on Subway, I just notice that a lot of people eat there.

fast food is actually more expensive than going to the grocery store and spending money on food that'll last you for a week. buy some tomato sauce, some beans, some corn, some rice, and fix chili. or replace the beans, corn and rice with spaghetti, but add a half pound of ground beef. both of those meals will last you several days, and you'll have spent a lot less than you would eating fast food. you can also purchase fruits and juice at the grocery store on a modest budget.

I mean I do eat healthy because I feel like no one in my family does. Health isn't something we as blacks focus enough on to live longer. My mom would get offended when I refuse her meals just because they weren't healthy. But I feel like eating junk food is fine if it's done in moderation.

moderation is meaningless, because even that means you're essentially spreading out what you'd otherwise eat in excess. it's the same thing, really. so, the only correct way to eat is to not consume that stuff at ALL. i offend family and friends when they offer me food. i might be over my boys house, and they'll order wing dings if they're watching a game. i won't eat any and they'll think i'm being "uppity." they don't understand that i'm just not going to put that trash in my body.

Naw. As long as when you're eating that food in moderation, your not eating the equivalent of would you used to, its fine to me. :yeshrug:
I prolly eat fast food once a month and that's only when I get off late and am too tired to cook.

I Cook 85% of my meals. I do Voila sometimes cuz i get sick of cookin ao much... might start eatin a few more frozen joints to be honest. Eat out sometimes and might have the occassionial piece of pizza.

Aint drunk pepsi sprite or none of tht in months.

But been spendin $$$ on hella craft beer :damn:
