Funny thing is that The Akatsuki didn't come and ask Itachi to join them but Itachi was the one came to "Fake Madara" aka "Tobi" aka the real "Obito" when he met him and need help to detstory the Uchiha Clan while "Fake Madara" (Tobi/Obtio) was like how did you find me?, etc. but lucky Obito fooled Itachi think that he was the real "Madara"

Sand village is too weak to do anything about their missing ninja (Sasori).
Stone village actually worked with Akatsuki on the low.
Mist village was too busy having a civil war and fighting each other do to anything about their missing ninja.
Leaf village was too soft.

At the Kage Summit the Raikage was pretty much like at the other villages for getting his brother caught up in their bullshyt because they don't do anything about their missing ninjas.

Nartuo was just lucky because of the 3d Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi so bascially was that Hiruzen focused everybody to accepted Naruto but Naruto made them to respect him even more.
