Hard choice
horrible car.
i drove one the other day.
the thing can only go in straight line. visibility is terrible. backwards and forwards.
I was going to come in and say this, the Cyclone.
I sat in one. Visibility wasn't bad for me. Adjust mirrors right for no blind spot.
Also the ZL1 is a track car. Track suspension, brakes, and everything.
i dunno. i came to the US (to study) via autobahns, germany, fast driving, chuckable cars.
it lacked balance. it was not nimble.
those things are not cured by adding suspension, beefy brakes and "everything".
horrible car.

American muscle in a nutshell
The 5th gen ZL1 is a track car
Look up track times. On the Nurburgring for example, it has a faster lap time than numerous models of Porsche, BMW, Audi, Lamborghini, etc. Is it the fastest? No. But it's still a car built for the street and the race track. The 6th ZL1 is even faster.
nothing you said challenges my original assertions.
it's a crap drivers car. not sure what is so contentious about that.
visibility was terrible and I am not just making that up.
i've driven at 165mph and my normal cruising speed is between 112 and 130 mph. in a well balanced car you can drive like that for hours.
i drove 400km/248m in 2h45m once.
lap time 7:41.27 is not anything special and AGAIN has nothing to do with drivability. a cayman S (bog standard) does 7:46. a cayman.
proper porsches smoke that time with sub 7 mins.
