At that point you would not be able to leave anyway. People always say they would leave if/when something happens as if they will have the resources and opportunity to just transport themselves. You leave while you have the ability, NOT when sh* hits the fan and you're stuck. Might as well say you're not leaving. Makes more sense.

I was in school stateside. I left not too long after done with school. As much people say US is 'developed', the whole culture seems miserable, materialistic, and depressed. I felt like I was in the Walking Dead movie. There are more developed countries in some facets of life believe it or not. Even in a less developed country there's a peace of mind and human connections you don't get in the states.
