The 'Go
I had a setback too. Silly hairdresser took too much off when I asked for a TRIM, not a cut. I hope to reach waist length by Jan 2015. I'm going to be swinging my hair nonstop when I do.

:pachaha:
IKR! I'm hoping to get to this by the time I graduate (2016)

Then why do you cont to speak for black men when it comes to how we are treated by black women?

Am I a leader?

It really depends on who needs to be lead, but in most cases I usually do lead.

i speak for myself but i know my experiences aren't always unique :yeshrug:

Are you kidding me? I was teased endlessly because of my curly hair & I used to relax my hair consistently. Please, don't tell me about the 'problems' I didn't have.

:comeon: binary would stab your mother in a stomach for a bag of your hair, i aint trying to hear this shyt. you got that curly good shyt that nikkas lust after to begin with. stop trynna equalize your problems to ours, it's no where near the same

shared experience that obviously many other blacks can cosign because they lived through it as well. what point are you trying to make? i can make sure to always point out i'm speaking for myself, and others will still cosign it

I'm black and experienced discrimination too. I don't care whether you acknowledge my struggle or not, because it's real to me. I used to only see straight hair around me, so it took a lot for me to fall in love with my curly hair. I'd appreciate it if you stop telling me to go away

:ohhh: I thought you said black men didn't talk about "good" hair. You also realize that there are non mixed black women with her hair type. My mom, aunt, and some of my cousins being a few of them.

you thought wrong, i'm fully aware of good hair / bad hair epidemic. go ahead and do some digging so you can hopefully retract your statement this time.
