I mean what are the odds that anything will happen anyway? I live in a great community in the suburbs with little crime.

People have a right to get guns and defend themselves. Honestly, I'd be a bit more concerned with the circumstances that leads people to commit the kinds of crimes where your best safety option is a gun.
I mean, if you have to live in an area that bad where a gun is a major priority...ouch.

I'm just saying they are unlikely to the point that everyone should go out and buy a gun.
I suspect that many of the gun violence incidents (or at least an under reported number of them) are really the end result of mental illness not being treated. And not a bunch of evil men who want to do harm.

This is partly me being a troll, but people can barely drive cars without getting into accidents. Imagine millions more people with a hand cannon? The number of incidents would skyrocket...

I'm not trying to convince anyone to sell their guns. I know people are passionate about it.
