fukk all that Im still rockin the Evisu jeans I bought like 8 years ago...and no they ain't the ass cheeks lookin ones with the stripe all over the back legs....and they are the best pair of jeans I've ever owned...so comfortable
low key Evisu is a legit denim company...they just had the misfortune of getting picked up by the lame hip hop crowd.
The Evisu jeans w/o that long stripe are still respected in the denim world.

why are black people so caught up in name brands?

unless ur looking at the designer logo which is usually on the back pocket or across the belt line the majority of jeans all look the same

meaning u could probably find a pair of $45/$50 jeans that look exactly like the ones people pay $400 or whatever u guys spend on jeans minus the designer logo.

inferiority complex?

TR is not hood booger. It was exactly faux hipster/cac before blacks devalued the shyt out of it ala ed hardy. Then of course it really went to shyt when the hood Arab/chink shops started selling the Chinese bootleg shyt. True religion shorts:laff:

I'm glad I don't follow trends

:whoa:

You do know that less than 5% of these designer label profits are from black people right? White people are just as materialistic..they just don't rap about it or post pics on instagram when they buy somethin new.

i think that might simply be because there are just more whites in America than blacks (who make up like 12%)

I don't have any numbers but just from living, meeting people and experiencing life it seems that more black people care about that sh1t [expensive clothes, sneakers, etc) (within the 12%) than whites within whatever percentage they fill up.

I don't see many whites stampeding though malls tryna' get Jordans

but yeah, i've heard the "they do it do" argument a dozen times before and it doesn't make it any less foolish.

lmao nikkas these days i swear. nikkas a bunch of lemmings, keep walking off them cliffs like zombies. i'll gladly make my own path and follow what i want to do and not base my life on "whats hot". fukk is nikkas talking bout something played out. is the water or juice you drink played out ? what about the food you eat or or the air you breathe nikka. one of the main reasons shyt so fukked up now, nikkas let the "majority" think for them instead of using their own fukking brain

The thing is...it isn't just black people.

ALL minorities are affected by this mentality. In AND out of this country.

Its hard to believe theres still GROWN motherfkers who are willing to camp outside for some Jordans, or willing to spend money they don't have on things they don't need...like $400 on a pair of freaking jeans.

I buy cool shyt here and there, but overall, who the fukk still cares about something as POINTLESS as name brands?? :laff:

Blacks created the American domestic sales permeation for foreign brands with ebony magazine.
White people was not rocking foreign labels in abundance till blacks provided the spark for them in America, breh.
