So y'all telling me tons of ppl would still be tuning in to see if "he can do it again in the 4th quarter"...if he was consistent as say, Peyton Manning?

Here's what ur overlooking...
The ENTIRE Tebow thing, the entire reason 1st Take can talk about him for 2 hours, is because of the dichotomous arguments. If he was good, what would they talk/argue about?
Drew Brees broke a previously "unbreakable" passing record and maybe got one segment on 1st Take. Why? Because nobody is arguing that Drew Brees sucks on one end.
Like someone else said too, alot of it is that Tebow has alot of non-football fan, fans.
Correction, people been in love with him since freshman year at Florida...You know, when Chris Leak led them to a National Title, and Tebow threw a gay ass jump pass TD in the title game...Ever since then its been Tim Tebow, the one who "led" Florida to 2 National Championships

People love Tebow because of who he is. You think the world is really split? No. We all know he's trash. But we ride for him anyway because he's TeGAWD.
If he puts up numbers he'll just have sports related bandwagoners in addition to his regular stans.
Drew Brees is nothing like Tebow outside of football. No one gives a fukk about Drew Brees.
But Tebow makes the dos equis dude look like a lame.
