You can no longer support Sanders if it's true that DNC tried to rigged the primaries? That's weird. :dahell:

EDIT: Try timestamp 6:00. It might be the reason.

If Bernie was a Democrat, then the whole Democratic Party wouldn't be so adverse to Bernie and his supporters. I don't think some extremist progressives understand that Bernie couldn't stop what was happening. Democrats were determined to back Hillary no matter what.

I respect Ventura and I like him, but can't fault Bernie. America is a two party system no matter what.

Well....
So I was super drunk & high when I made this thread but still.....

At the end of the day to me it means no matter his beliefs he would endorse any1 at the end of the day. So his beliefs can go out the window.

If you drop back to the mindset when Bernie started, I don't think anyone really expected his campaign to take off the way it did. His goal (and he had alluded to it before Obama's second term as well) was to be a primary opponent that pulls the Democratic Presidential candidate to the left by putting left leaning policies in front of a larger audience. So essentially everyone knew going in that Hillary's machine was set up to win (how many electoral votes was she guaranteed practically from jump and who could honestly challenge her donor base?) and Bernie took a lesser of two evils position but tried to improve it by pulling Hillary left. If you look at Cuomo/Nixon in NYC, you can see a similar dynamic.

That's not to excuse it or say you should or should not vote for Bernie. But I think that context changes "he would endorse anyone" to "he would endorse a democratic candidate to try avoiding a Republican candidate winning and making things worse."
