One of the Def Jam game creators said something like he didn't believe hip hop and wrestling belonged together, so they took the wrestling aspect away.

Yep, It's like he completely ignored FFNY being critically acclaimed. Not to mention the fact that Vendetta was such a hit that it spawned FFNY. I remember when Icon came out and all the reviews(and there were a lot) absolutely hated the new style, they all agreed that the wrestling is what made it great. They shouldn't make a new game, they just need to re-release FFNY onto the PSN & Xbox stores.
