If the Warriors had 2 of their best players injured, LeBron would have an asterisk, right?

Jordan's finals match ups at his position:

Byron Scott (washed Lakers team)

Clyde Drexler (leaving his prime, no other players of note)
Dan Marleje :mjlol: (decent Suns team, would lose in today's league)

Left for 2 years, avoiding The Dream in his prime.

Hersey Hawkins (Sonics team that just wasn't that good)

Jeff Hornacek, two times (good Jazz team with Hall of Famers)

The competition wasn't nearly as good as people make it to be. Most of the great players from the 80s were all washed by 92-93. Then the 96 draft came :banderas:and saved the NBA.

You shouldn't discredit this team the same way you shouldn't discredit Mike.

this years playoffs was far more interesting than the ones the last few years..when lebron was in Miami,we all knew the heat was going to the finals every year..

for the 1st time since the 90's,I legit felt like the bulls could've went to the finals this year :mjcry:

The spurs/clips series was crazy

Hawks got embarrassed after dominating the east :mjlol:

and even thou GS had the best overall record, it would still be surprising to see them win it all

the injuries were the only real damper to this years playoffs, but other then that, i thought it was pretty good:yeshrug:

Injuries happen every year. But I don't remember a teams opponents missing starters in every round.

Every year injuries play a part but they benefited the most from what I remember.

It's out of their control though. I can't fault them for it

Michael Jordan never played against a dominant big man in the finals. Never beat an all-time great team in the finals. Never beat a great 2 guard on par with his physical ability in the playoffs. Was the NBA weak back then?
He would have scored 10 more PPG if they removed hand checking back then.

Spurs are a "choking ass team" yet they won 5 titles since 99? And are you referring to this year with Spurs not closing out a series at home? Series would've been different if Parker and Splitter were healthy.
Save us these excuses. Paul strained his hamstring in Game 7, and still got the job done on one leg. :camby:

How old was Paul tho?
:sas1:

Treat injuries at age 25 and 35 the same brehs.

:skip:
Clown yourself for thinking Chris Paul is 25, when he's really 30 brehs. :skip:

Clown yourself for not knowing that Paul and Splitter are the same age brehs. :skip:

Clown yourself for not knowing that there's only a three-year age difference between Paul and Parker brehs :skip:
