If the Warriors had 2 of their best players injured, LeBron would have an asterisk, right?

Yeah but he still coached them this season is my point. I don't trust any team with him as its coach once they get past the first round. Dude is Erik Spoelstra levels of brainless and unable to adapt.

okc was never healthy this year

durant missed 55 games
kanter played 26 games with okc
russ missed 15 games
ibaka missed 18

scott brooks is not their coach anymore

I'm aware of that, but we aren't talking about going forward. We're talking about this season. This season he was their coach. That means even if healthy, they still had a huge handicap. A coach who is a terrible strategist and doesn't make adjustments is an anchor.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will win the next two games. I promise
You do realize that means they have to take a game 7 on the road right? You do realize that no team has done this in nearly 40 years in the finals right? That team has no offense around James. Expecting them to pull off something that historic is asinine. The fact alone that they're a Cleveland team should be enough to tell you this.

so LeBron is the only good player on the team now?

werent dudes saying Shumpert and JR were balling cause they were away from Melo?...guess they trash now

werent dudes saying Tristan deserves a max? guess he trash now

werent dudes praising the Mozgov trade? guess he trash now

this is stuff yall said.

1 on 5 is a stretch. He's got good teammates, but they're good role players. Lot of good players who only do 1-2 things well. Just about every team with a ring has had at least two HOF players who are versatile enough to do multiple things on both sides of the floor. LeBron is the only clear HOF player on his team right now.

Kobe was in Lebron's position in 2006 and 2007

Kobe didn't average 40ppg in either series against a below average defensive team and lost both of those series.

Kobe literally lost to a depleted Suns teams after being up 3-1 and basically gave up in game 7
1. Kobe was an 8th seed in the west, and played w Smush Parker (had 6, 2 & 3 in 41 minutes on 0% FG one game), Luke Walton, and Kwame Brown getting significant minutes.

2. Kobe wasnt shooting 35 shots a game in any of those series. The one time he did (06 Game 6) he had 50. and they still loss

Bulls would've won it all, huh? How many other teams in history that lost in the 2nd rd get as much revisionist history love as that Bulls team?

Even if you don't think they would've won it all, the team was still a very good team without MJ.

You can pretty much delete this title from the record books as far as I'm concerned.

fukk the cleveland storyline. It's 1 vs 5. If Batman breaks his neck before the end of the Movie, it's not going to turn out too well.

he did break his back in the third film, and came back stronger than ever to finish that shyt out

lebron is coming back stronger than ever....:lupe: :gladbron: :lolbron:

Kobe was a 6th seed and a 7th seed and Lamar is by far better than anybody on the Cavs who's not recovering from an injury.

And if Kobe team sucked then should he shot the ball more? Lol
the Golden State Warriors are the best defensive team in the NBA...the Suns were a subpar defensive team lol.

If Kobes didn't average 40 against a fast pace defensively challenged team then why would he against the Warriors? Kobe never average 40ppg in a series in his life... Hell, the year he blew a 3-1 advantage was the year he was averaging 35ppg

This is not actually true. The Bulls a team that 3peated twice only had a 54% winning pct without MJ playing.

The Bulls were a playoffs team in at least 3 or 4 of those years without needing MJ.

U can't sit there and say a team with the best coach, best rebounder ever, the best SF in the 90's, and with Tony Kukoc would consistently missed the playoffs every year

westbrook
morrow
durant
ibaka
kanter

how do you defend this squad?

that floor spacing :wow:

scott brooks was fired months ago

They're going after Durant, so Durant may be on the Dubs next year :sadcam: It's really up to him.
