No.... I know she doesnt NEED it per say.... but it would be kinda like Ken Shamrock vs young Tito thing. Plus I'm sure it would be easier for her to get in the fighting shape at that weight class and she still has a bigger name than anyone Ronda has faced thus far outside of Tate
Ronda's first few fights were at 145+
She didn't start dropping to 135 til her title shot at Strikeforce against Tate

I was talking about Cyborg dropping to Ronda weight though.... I doubt Ronda would go up or go up that much and prolly feels she doesnt need too.
If they really wanted to, they could build an intriguing narrative or storyline to a Ronda vs Carano fight.... thats what a marketing department purpose is.
Carano was fighting at 145, though. If she's going to 145 the ppl want to see her fight Cyborg

True.... but I dont think Carano is as naturally a big girl like Cyborg.... I just wanna see both fights.... not really a "one or the other" thing for me. Hype and pressure wise, the Cyborg fight will prolly happen first.

She looks nice, and is attractive, is a good ambassador for UFC,is marketable , that matters more for the money men. You think the only reason arnie was on weiders magazines, and won the olympias was because he had a great body? He was handsome,charming and personable. I have seen Ronda in interviews, she seems nice. UFC will protect their product to a good extent. They won't want some shemale roided out dyke looking woman instead ,they will lose money, thats one reason why feet are being dragged.It's the same in boxing, with the heavy weight champs. Certain dangerous boxers are ducked to protect them and their promoters.
I think Cyborg would be just as big of a draw if she were in the UFC
