If the Raiders never left LA, would they be the #1 franchise in the NFL?

That's a fine sentiment but the Raiders are held back by oakland. Tough truth but it is. Its a smaller market and they could get 90k a week in LA with higher ticket prices and still have a gully crowd.

Norfeast groovin…
Oakland is the foundation and always will be, but LA would take the franchise to crazy heights. It'd be cool if the team could play half the home games in LA and half the home games in Oakland.

The Raiders in LA double there value alone, which would make them a top 5 team value wise.

The Raiders are a iconic team hurt by there ownership. Yet Al is a huge part of there iconic status.

Either way, there is no way the Raiders should be valued so low when compared to the Redskins and Cowboys. And staying in LA would have gone a long way of keeping there value when compared to those teams.

If I am Phil Anschutz I do whatever it takes to get the Raiders. And it is interesting that AEG will now be managing the Coliseum...

:childplease: their competition woulda still been USC football and the DirecTV Sunday Ticket

WTF does that have to do with anything. Sunday ticket is sold as a exclusive package to Direct TV, which is then split between all 32 NFL teams..

and NFL football is on a Sunday not a Saturday..

Because it was fukking stupid. Does oakland NOT "compete" with the other 14 games going on that day? Why would LA have a harder time? You're fukking moron sometimes tremont...

And Oakland has issues selling out games. Perception is that LA people generally don't give a shyt whether they have a team or not.
