Actually it's strange to to see in this thread that most assume Nazi Germany and the US would've been enemies if the Nazis had won the war. I personnaly think that if Hitler doesn't fukk up and attack two fronts at the same time, Nazi Germany wins Western Europe and the US and them enter at worst some type of cold war, at "best" become allies on some real-politik shyt against USSR. Out of two enemies, the US probably hated the USSR far more.

full disclosure i asked this thread to be moved here after being made aware of your report....

So i've read about 80% of the thread and outside of having a different perspective the point has been presented respectfully. (as far as I can tell.) The youtube link was obviously put up by a white supremacist (on youtube ), i'm still a little unsure on the validity of the documentary itself or the motives of it's author (google isn't helping much either...but i'm still looking), so for now i really don't see a problem with the documentary (again I've not watched it yet) and truthfully the report as it stands is ad hominem (I reserve the right to say I was completely wrong on this once more information comes to light).

My hope was that HL would see this and perhaps challenge themselves to delve into the veracity of some of the claims here, or even answer the OP question in an intelligent "history based" fashion so that a true "what would the world be like..." answer might better be understood.

I understand the people posting may or may not have their own agenda, that goes for both sides, again my hope is that "truth" or even better yet civility will win out the day.

That being said i'm watching the thread closely.

Again I am not above saying I was completely wrong on this call assuming I am and given that an intelligent argument can be made to that end.

Clearly the video was posted by a white supremacist but i can't yet link that to the video itself (outside of the apologetic tone of the video itself). From what i've gathered the documentary itself is "legitimately" a documentary with contrary views that was posted to youtube by a racist.

I've tried searching for reviews on both the video and the director of the video linking either one to being "racist" and have not come up with anything (i'm at work though and sometimes filters do weird things.)

technologically they were way more advanced than the allies. the Messerschmitts that were being produced near the end of the war royally fukked any aircraft the allies put in the air. the mp 44 was a fantastic weapon that sadly was introduced too late and even then it had a big effect on the eastern front. dat range and rate of fire their Panther tanks were the best tanks in the war and forced the americans to make bigger tanks.

He wasn't dellusional, he was misinformed. He was told there would be a certain number of units in certain places and there ended up being double that because the Russian women were all unofficially enlisted. Even the Russian kids were fighting. This is something unheard of at the time in German culture. In fact, toward the end when the nazis were losing bad, there were german high school boys (15, 16, etc) that were fully able to fight and denied by Hitlers decree while on the Russian side middle school girls were strapped up looking out their windows like Malcom X. Then, certain things he signed off on were good ideas but the people in charge of executing the plans screwed up on minor aspects that proved devestating. Like, he intended to use the train infrastructure to travel through large parts of Russia cause he wasn't planning on being there long. They even counted on the Russians destroying the train tracks to prevent this, so they had german troops carry train parts with them to repair the tracks, but someone along the way fukked up because the parts the germans brought did not fit the Russian trains. Same as if you go to another country and try and plug in something but forget to bring an adapter. Only, in a war, this oversight gave the Russians weeks longer to prepare than the germans accounted for in certain places so by the time they got there they were so far dug in that what should have been an easy sack of a town lasted months. Ultimately, things like this through there time table so far out of whack that they were there til winter which they were completely unprepared for (some of the germans were literally in shorts) and they were fighting Russian-born natives in Syberian cold. At one point the Russians told the villagers to burn all of their own jackets and warm clothes because they would simply be cold while to the germans it would be absolutely freezing.

The Russians themselves acredit the defeat to the cold. To this day they call it "General Winter" like it became an honorary war general because it arrived and helped defeat the nazis.

You are right that bombing durring that time period was pointless on all sides. There was no real clear level of accuracy without being so close you were in the line of the anti-aircraft guns. And because of the lack of capable automated targeting you had to physically see your target. This meant if you bombed at night you missed, and if you bombed durring the day either you were close enough to be shot out of the sky or so far that you miss anyway.

The Russian had an unofficial brigade of all chicks that the germans called the night witches or night banshees or something like that cause they would fly super high up at night, then stall the engines, then let the engine die and glide down over the area so they were basically completely quiet... then they would let the guns go and the guns would let out a repeating sound like they were screaming, then they'd be gone back into the night again. Or they would drop bombs to confuse the germans at night into thinking troops were in areas that were empty.
And none of them flew with parachutes because parachutes were valuable so they shipped them out to the men, but also because if things went bad they didn't want to be captured alive cause the germans would have had a field day with them. And they flew so low to the ground they would barely have time to pull the shoot anyway... so if they got hit they were basically dead.

Some of the athletes mention it interviews. I stumbled across it by accident back when I was learning about Jackie Joyner Kersie, because I always thought she was "Flojo". I didn't know flojo and jackie joyner kersie were two different people (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florence_Griffith_Joyner) so I was reserching her, then I was looking up the olympics where the two dudes on the podium put up the black power fists, and in the course of reading and study I saw a couple athlete accounts of what it was like being in the nazi/german olympics. And some of them said Hitler wanted to meet with them privately. Actually what they said was basicaly that the german version of the secret service had told them Hitler wanted to meet with them and their US handlers told the athletes they were forbidden from doing so or do anything else that could be seen as supporting him (even though they were participating in the olympics there...)

I know for the award ceremony thing you are talking about, for the first day of the olympics Hitler was meeting with the gold medal winners, then at some point he left the olympics and the people that won after that didn't meet him cause he wasn't there. So there were whites he didn't see that day too. Then the next day, he was going to meet some of the winners again but the olympic comittee told him he shouldn't because yesterday he didn't meet the black dude so it could be misconstrued as him playing favorites, so actually he didn't meet with any other winners publically after that. Except when it was over he obviously did a thing for the german winners. Ironically, the US didn't do shyt for the blacks that won.

But germany spanked everybody in that olympics so I'm not sure he was really mad.

He could not have realistically expected to win every event, and its not like its the first olympics. He had seen other olympics. Blacks had won before. Blacks winning and beating whites was not a foreign or shocking concept. People act like he would have been in awe and never have seen anything like it, but thats silly.

Those Olympics were a shining success in Hitler's eyes.
