I had someone tell me today that the winner of World War II didn't matter for blacks but i think things would be worse for us right now.

That's something different however. Germany winning didn't equal to it taking over the US, an almost impossible eventuality.

Anyway Germany was never going to win that war, their army was running on fumes in 1945, Hitler made numerous awful strategic decisions like invading Russia.

Just park 10 of its fleet of aircraft carriers in the atlantic and it would basically be like an impenetrable wall. Theres a reason why japan could only bomb hawai, pearl harbour. Geography is nine-tenths of politics, war etc, and is the main reason there has been almost constant warfare in Europe pre-1945, why Central African countries struggle so much economically, why America's beginning was largely unchaotic in comparison to other countries etc.

Yep. Operation Paperclip. They gave hella Nazi's passes just so they could come here and work in secret labs out in the desert. Nah, FDR was going to find a way to get us into the war. Japan just gave him the excuse he needed. And Hitler was also trying to come over here to America, all during WW2 they were trying to develop U-boats, planes and missiles that could have the distance to reach the US. They just never got anything out of the test phase. If they would have had another year or so or even had a chance to devote more resources to it, the outcome of WW2 would have been totally different.
