How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?

we haven't seen enough of Melo & Amar'e to deem it a failure yet. They needed that offseason practice time...ESPECIALLY with Tyson coming in and fukkin up the spacing.

But nah, no need to break it up. Two consecutive seasons where most of our important players are out leading to (potential) sweeps. Our core returning players will be:

Lin, Shumpert, Melo, Amar'e, Chandler, Fields, and Harrelson...three of whom won't have seen half this playoff series. 2 others haven't played to their capabilities. Hopefully Fields and Harrellson can develop in the offseason and be better contributors.

Knick fans stay delusional.
JMurder, if you have to justify not making the offs, or getting swept every year, it's time to blow it up again until you have the right combo of players to compete for championship, not advance a round in the playoffs. The Knicks are one of the poorest run teams in League

Would we have been swept were Chauncey and Amar'e not injured against the Celtics?

Would we be looking so outclassed if we had this team from the season opener instead of halfway through the season (remember we didn't get JR & Baron until the middle of the season and Lin didn't play until a week before February)? The Knicks didn't play to their potential this season, and had we been, we would've gotten past round 1 and hopefully had been healthy enough to actually challenge for a championship. Two years of expecting Melo to shoulder all the scoring is not an accurate representation of what the TEAM is capable of. No delusions, just real spit

knicks have 61 mill commited to 6 guys next year what in reality can they do?

61 mill and they haven't signed landry fields or jeremy lin yet

no one wants that stoudemire contract, don;t even think orlando will especially after they got burned with the rashard lewis and gilbert, try going to the owner and telling him to take on amares deal

knicks best bet is trading one of chandler/melo but knowing them they will stand pat resign lin and fields and hope they can stay healthy and be satisfied with a 6th - 8th seed

if i was grunwald or whoever is running the knicks i'd get rid of melo

Don't do that. DeVos would do it for the same reason your Bills try to win for Ralph Wilson.

and Wilt, Ryan's an RFA. He could just bounce if he signs a deal Orlando won't match

Orlando won't let Anderson bounce unless some team shells out some insane contract... Which won't happen I don't think.

Clippers got Nick Young and Kenyon Martin midseason and they're both big playoff pieces for them already. Only guy we were missing in game 1 was Lin and we were optimistic enough to expect to be competitive going into that game. We still got blown out. I hope I'm wrong but shyt doesn't look that pretty from my vantage point. Especially with Shump probably gone till 2013, questions marks at PG, and no picks. Can we really afford another year of being a bottom playoff seed?

We were only missing Lin but Tyson might as well had missed that game. He didn't do shyt all thanks to fukking Toney Douglas.
:noah: I'd really like to know what the fukk has been up with Carmelo this series though. He was killing last year in the offs
