When Asuka gets the Asuka lock fully on it's the finish 100% of the time. That's the deadliest in the game right now

All-time, the posters above made a good case for the ankle lock

Shamrock's Kurt's ankle lock made Lesnar tap, Undertaker tap and Hogan tap, plus nearly every major star on the roster.

Undisputed GOAT submission, kayfabe wise. When he grapevined the leg you knew shyt was OVER

I'd assume Cena's STF(U) would be up there even if the application sucks
It looks so terrible though. I can't in good conscience put it up there.
Kurt Angle anklelock with the leglock was never not tapped out to as far as I know.

Brock reached the ropes at wrestlemania when he did it.

People got out of the ankle lock all the time even if a lot of people tapped to it too. Bret's sharpshooter is the GOAT as far as people not breaking it. The STFU is probably up there too.

I'm gonna have to go with Bret Harts sharpshooter. I remember as a kid only jobbers tapped out on episodes of superstars. Then Bret came thru making everybody submit. He was like the first guy I saw win a championship by making someone give up. Also back in the day the would give up or get the 3 hand drop, then when Ken Shamrock hit the scene it changed to tapping out.

Yeah ankle lock with the leg wrap is like a cheat code
Felt like angle was watching Japanese puro around this time and was adding to his finishers since everyone began to realize to get out the ankle lock you had to roll forward

Also if you consider Bryan Danielson with those elbows in ring of honor it was vicious and I'd have put it in my top ten all time
Surprised they never let him do it in the wwe
