Just because in the early years he wasn't as talented as Lz, Cam and maybe 40 Cal doesn't mean he was a contributing artist. From the looks of it, he was the brains and Cam was the brand while Juelz was the project. Jim is the only one that weathered the storm to continue produce good music.

I gotta agree....say what u want about Jim but he puts out solid azz albums and manages to make nice songs,and its not where u can just write if off as "well he just got great beats"...becuz he don't have access to the best beats.....I personally think Stack would've benefited greatly from learning under Jim,his ear for beats wuz sketchy as well as his hooks but his bars were incredible...teaming with Jim I think woulda helped him sharpen up in that area.....i. think Jim would actually make a great producer,not the guy that makes beats but the guy that helps put the album together,and let's nikkas kno what sounds good together and what doesn't.....I just doubt if his need for attention woulda let max or stack shine greater,after he just got outta a situation where he wuz the bum on the roster...to form ur own team then be the bum again

Jim Jones is not a bad rapper.

he really isn't. i find him more entertaining than cam. vampire 1 and 2 are dope albums. their quality surprised me.
