We had black men get out of college but still couldn't find work which lead to black women valuing the drug dealers more because they at least had money, even though it was illegal those women didn't give a fukk. Then add onto that the advent of hiphop music which glorified being at the bottom and being poor and back people are completely fukked over...

All that happened AFTER slavery.
