Most of the times I've jumped in. There's been times when the homie had a 1 punch hitter/quitter, so there was no need. Another time it was about 6 of us and 30 of them, one of us was fightin one of them. If I jumped in it would result with about 30 people jumpin me and 5 homies

Already been there. High school was the worst. Was smoking blunts with a good friend of mine with serious anger issues. We was high as fukk walking by a group of dudes. One of them made some offhanded comment like "them nikkas look high as fukk". Not a big deal. Just like that my boy lost it came up in that dudes face and was like "if you got a problem then say it with your fists". 20 of them, 2 of us. I won't lie man I was really scared. I thought we was gonna die. Like I envisioned us getting shot up. My boy and the dude started fighting. I'm just watching the scene. Out of nowhere someone else tried to start swinging on my boy. At that point I stopped thinking and just reacted. I connected some hits, caught a few hits. A bottle broke, some nikka ran to his car to get 'something' and thankfully cops came. We ran like hell. I got respect for doing what I did, but I was scared for my life and only reacted with the fight or flight instinct.

Another point I'll add is I'm glad I'm a little older and don't have to deal with petty shyt like this. I got a family now and ain't trying to get caught up in nikkas beefs no more.

Kinda depends, but yeah, if it's a really good friend.

Certain friends i`d only jump in to stop them from taking a really bad L, others are like family and they're fighting all of us.

I remember one time in college my boy Mike was walking down Main St. hollering "fukk the police, all you are fakkits"

Some drunk white dude yells up "Oh yeah, fukk police?"

Mike "Yeah fukk them and fukk you too nikka" (He's a spanish dude always using the n-word, literally every 4 words, it's hilarious)

They come to meet up, my man Mike is just shytting on this guy verbally, so they get to the point to scrap, one of his boys says Ok, no one jump in though let them fight it out. I say "no doubt" and a second later punch the big white guy in the face and then Mike goes at him.

My ass ended up tossed "in da bushes" no joke, me Mike, the big white guy and his friend who all got arrested that night. Funny story all in all though.

I`m kinda glad too, I turned 29 Friday and my birthday was nice calm and quiet.

Just a night out with my girl to dinner, peaceful.

I do miss the fun of the old days of running out in town fukking around with the crew, but there were too many times we could have put ourselves in real danger doing what we were doing, we made it out ok and it was a blessing.

Now we drink on Sundays for football games and it's at the house or go out on a slow night in the summer to enjoy some drinks after a softball game.

But still, always gonna be drinking somehow someway
