Given the price and what they offer, it's up there. And the fact that they don't trip about password sharing has made them more endearing. In fact they embraced it.
I think binge watching alters some ppls perception of it though. In a way, making ppl wait for episodes make them more loyal.

Binge watching lets viewers gloss over flaws because they've already moved on to the next episode. House of Cards for example would get exposed for its weak ass writing if it aired weekly.
yeah, but it also makes ppl look past greatness as well because it doesn't encourage discussion and ppl to ruminate over a previous ep.

Sometimes I think it'd be in Netflix's best interest if they released 3 or 4 episodes per week of a show instead of all 12. It'd encourage hype and discussion about the show.
1# all this content was released over 3 years.
HBO & Showtime haven't had as much new sh1t over that time span as Netflix.

Another thing Netflix is building a nice library for kids. My nephews binged watched The Croogs and loved it
FargoI'm not really checking for FX anymore Sons of Anarchy is over and Sunny is the only thing id watch...
AMC on the other hand has been putting in work...

Granted even though fargo and the americans are 2 of the top dramas on TV the ratings are low and i guess this thread proves it.
