basically what my post was saying but somehow coli idiots made it about race.
Futbol hasnt caught on in america cuz it requires thinking.
Keep grasping at straws I made comment about American culture as a whole but you wanna see it as me making a racist remark. Majority of France's national team is black and made it to the finals of a big tournament in which a black player scored the winning goal.Your exact words -
The thread is about Black Americans, how the fukk is it not about race? You came with the tried and true "mental" aspect of the game begin too much for us to handle, and it requires too much thinking for us, now you on some "Nah, I meant this" using other peoples words when you clearly said it takes too much thinking.
Most posters don't know you're not black which is why that shyt is getting a pass.
Exactly....football and basketball are considered the most masculine sports. Those players attract the pretty girls, cheerleaders, and garner most respect in black community. And you rarely see a soft or feminine dude play bball or football. That's why so much attention was put on Michael Sams because people just cant fathom a homosexual and/or effeminant man playing an aggressive, hard hitting, combat sport. Now on the other hand...I can see gay athletic dudes running track, playing tennis or soccer.
Given the size and athleticism, wouldn't LeBron be an elite level goalie? This is only if you take as a given that instead of dedicating his life to basketball that he'd instead dedicate it towards being a goalie.
I'd expect that most NFL level CBs and DBs would also make excellent soccer players, again given that they dedicated themselves solely to soccer rather than football.
I'd say gays would prefer to play a sport that involves a lot of physical contact with other men.
Not necessarily. His height and vertical leap would be an advantage, but, physically, hes too bulky.
Agility, reading of the game, reflexes and concerntration are the key components all elite goalies share.
I hear you, I would imagine that LeBron James is pretty agile and based on his defense his reflexes are strong as well. As for reading of the game and concentration that would come from the lifetime of dedicating himself to the game. I'm not suggesting Bron could merely hop in front of a soccer goal and start dominating, but rather if he applied the same ethic and desire that he has towards ball his entire life towards soccer, I believe his physical tools and drive would allow him to excel.
