If you’re going to call someone out and quote them. At least use the full context of the quote and not just a snippet as it’s kind of misleading. I remembered the comment from yesterday and it more to it than that as it did mention his time in college and his height being a barrier against him.

If Malachi Flynn were unskilled, you'd have a point. But he's always been an elite scorer. He was the leading scorer on a 30-2 San Diego State team that was ranked #6 in the country when the season ended. The problem is just that he's not a great creator or defender, and being a 6'1" shooting guard doesn't cut it in today's league. Even Steph spent an extra year in college just to work on PG skills cause he knew he was undersized as a SG in the modern NBA.

In the 1980s, Flynn would have been a typical microwave scorer who you let go for 20+ whenever he was on and sat when he wasn't.

It’s goofy and disingenuous when everyone does it and not just one person.
