A lot of Rondo's court vision comes from the defense not playing his jumpshot. This allows him to have more space to analyze the passing lanes. Much of Magic's court vision came from his sheer size..he could see over the defense regardless if they were playing his j or not..this alone gives him the better court vision than Rondo, who sometimes forces bad passes when he's played tightly..

With Magic Size, it wasnt about Hiding him defensively.. Just Matching him up properly..

It made more sense for Byron Scott and James Worthy to often Defend more athletic one and two's and having magic guard up on a 2 or 3
