i'm not comparing there resume i was saying personality

Well Evander still has a more open (I guess) personality than Klitschko. He did SportsCenter commercials and was a pretty visible champ to the public.

But like I said in a earlier post, if Vitali or Wladimir would've came along in the 90's when the Heavyweight division was huge they'd probably be bigger. Evander ruled during the 90's and had some big wins during that decade so that's mainly why he's so popular and the Klitschko's arent

my theory is if he was american the heavyweight division would be huge cuz we would love a crazy dominant champ that beats everybody regardless who he fights

This is the truth. Americans love dominant guys no matter how "weak" their competition is or how weak they make their competition look.

The other thing is, if the Klitchkos were Americans, there's a pretty good they chance they would have had a fractured enough familial life that they would have been willing to fight one another.

Holyfield beat Riddikk Bowe twice, Tyson twice, George Foreman, Ray Mercer, Michael Moorer, Michael Dokes, Dwight Muhammad Qawi twice.

Undisputed at heavyweight and cruiserweight. Klitschko doesnt have near the resume Evander does

The thing is
Wlad would have beaten them too (besides Riddikk Bowe perhaps). in his prime - which is now... Hmm, nah Vitali would have take on Tyson...

Of course he would be huge. bytch ass Michael Phelps was called the greatest olympian ever just because he is American. Duke is basically illiterate and no one gives a fukk about swimming but he was made out to be American hero. Swimming is unbelievably boring, takes about four laps just to figure out who's in what lane and then you have no idea who won. You're basically staring at a pool full of water for 4 minutes.

Klitschko would be king right now, they would dig up Bert Sugar so he could put him up as #1 on his all time list. He would probably be all up in those shytty action flicks swinging a sword and running around with AKs.

As an avid boxing fan, I will say that the Klitschko brothers are VERY good boxers and definite hall of famers. How good are they all time? They are both fukking huge, larger than pretty much any heavyweights in history, powerful, well coordinated fighters. That alone gives them the chance to beat any one they fight. They dont just beat everyone they fight, they dominate them. Wlad has a weak chin, but so did Lennox. I would rank Wlad below Lennox. Lennox was better, but he was not as focused as Wlad. Wlad is always in shape. Vitali doesnt really have weaknesses. This is a guy that was a kickboxing champion and then decided to get into boxing, he is a natural athlete. Talent wise he would be a top 15 heavyweight.

you can't deny that these things have an effect on perception. See Barry Bonds.

I don't agree w/ this. Every baseball head says & knows that man was a Hall of Famer before the steroid talk. I'm talking Pittsburgh days; no matter how much of an ass he was to media.

If you want to talk about Klits though... It's what everybody has said already. The heavyweight competition is weak. You can say smaller classes are the future of boxing as of now or what brings in the PPV results because nobody cares about heavyweights anymore. The last time heavyweights were even talked about was early 2000's. Time & time is his downfall. I think he's a great fukking boxer though. Not the best by any stretch of the imagination

If you never fight the best then u can't be considered great....There can be only one. They must fight each other to leave any type of mark otherwise they'll be forgotten quickly.

it's funny b/c they're both great HOF boxers but neither will fight the only other HOF HW of their era
that would instantly double their popularity over here atleast. They're huge in europe and shyt

bottomline is every great fighter has that 1 fight that defines their career. That fight of the century. people hate on mayweather and pacquiao because they are avoiding. and this dude will never get any love for the same reason but in his case it's not his fault. what ali be without foreman or frazier. who would sugar be without hearns or duran? you gotta have that special fight. even average fighters like ward and gotti are remember more highly because they had that great fight.

People talking some misconceptions in here. Joe Louis and Rocky Marciano are a legends but they fought shytty competition, as did Mike Tyson. They only difference with these guys were that they were American and exciting finishers.

the reason tyson and marciano are considered :scusthov: compared to ali is actually because everybody they fought against would've been :dead: in that era.
:smh: at your example. Tyson is remembeedr is the greatest champ of the 90's but rarely does he make it into anyones top ten list. Espn's 2007 pound for pound all time list had Tyson at 50 and rocky at 14. Joe Louis was ranked 4 but he actually fought some great fighters, i don't know why you included him in your statement.
