To me the best story to tell as far as anyone dethroning Reigns belongs to Sami Zayn.. which probably sounds crazy with this version of his character.
but from a longterm booking standpoint, the story is there and it's ready made. if done right, he'd be the biggest babyface in wrestling since Bryan's Yes run..
he's already the unofficial lacky of the bloodline and they treat him like shyt. The way the Usso's were talkin to him this past Friday almost had me forgetting wrestling was fake for a second. Genuinely felt bad for the nikka. Keep working that angle until eventually Roman snaps and beats this dude half to death.. He can go away for about a month, finally return with a more polished look and shaved head (His old NXT look)
take on the bloodline by himself as an underdog. Keep getting beat to a pulp until finally he overcomes the odds and defeats Goliath. This is easily the best story to tell and makes the most sense. Sami would be MADE. See his initial NXT run if you don't think he could play the ultimate underdog to a TEE.
Ya'll mentioning Tez, Bron etc. but as far as storytelling goes, Sami makes the most sense outside of Seth.. then other dudes have nothing to do with Roman. Seth is already made, so its pointless to have him be the one to take Roman out. We already know he's like that. Give Sami a real run and see what happens.
