If Johnny Manziel deserves all these chances, the NFL needs to reinstate WR Justin Blackmon

It's not allowed and he's repeatedly gotten caught. That might be Gordon I'm thinking of actually.

Gordon got popped for weed once:martin:

he got suspended for "codeine" he says it was a medication his doctor prescribed him and looking at his drug habits that was very believable. then he got caught with some weed in his system and they put him on no tolerance from then on and then he had a couple drinks on the plane ride home from a game and they were waiting for him at the airport like:ufdup:

Bkackmon is different level prospect than Manziel and he showed that on the field when he played.

The main issue I have with Manziel is that he gets all this attention when he's not that good. It's not like his off field antics are preventing him from balling on the field. To me its his off field antics are preventing everyone from knowing he can't ball on the field.

And that's where his White Privilege kicks in. His coaches know he can't play hence why he has failed to beat out now THREE career back ups for playing time. Yet still, there's a lead story on ESPN about the guy right now.

He can't play but the last game he started he threw for almost 400 yards. He's started 4 or 5 games and never more than 2 in a row. It's hard to find a rhythm when you start a handful of games in 2 years, spread out all over the season.

Agreed. The NFLPA really dropped the ball in the substance abuse category. Especially when it came to weed. :snoop:

But whatever, their is a long list of things the NFLPA dropped the ball on when it comes to the last labour negotiation.

But hey, the players got less padded practices. :manny:

If the NFL and CFL are blackballing this man seems like there might be some anti-trust issues there and something he needs to take to court.

NFL and CFL have a agreement with players that are suspended. It was put in place after Rickey Williams went to the CFL, I believe..

I heard on a Jags Message board(someone close to Justin said) that Justin don't want to come back. The lifestyle is to much for his sobriety. They said he is getting a hold of his alcohol problem and NFL life might mess that up.

Don't know if true or not but, if so I hope he stays retired.

NFL aint worth your life
