They wouldn't stand a chance. They either trivialize or work against potential solutions to the issues the majority of the country deem important; climate change, housing, lower wages, etc.

Absolutely. It's why no matter how "conservative" a lot of black folks may be, they'll never vote Republican. Hell, the most conservative subgroup in the community, the black church, are all staunch Democrats.

On the other hand, voting Hillary over Bernie is one of the worst things the Democrats have done. They had to bring Biden out of retirement like Jordan just to win the last election.
Any other democratic candidate would have lost that election. Luckily Biden won and they were able to swing power back in their favor, but they lost the Supreme Court. Republicans are losing the numbers game, so their next move is extreme voter supression in southern states.
