If I was Magneto and Charles Xavier did this to me he would have to live the rest of his life in a Iron Lung 🤬

-Breh, what? The comic clearly describes why Mags does what he does & the repercussions of doing it. Tell me you're not trying to say it's a targeted attack on Black people.
-Mags is mutant first, jew far distant second.

You do not know simple black history. Like black soldiers ignoring nazi handbills.
based in the same type of bullshyt dumbshyt.
you trying to say magneto was right about. Magneto is a dictator.

I could care less how the stoopid writers at marvel. Continue to have a villain fascination.
To the point marvel no long own's themselves as a result.

Change yo font color too. That gimmick is a nondraw and never drew a dime.

-Breh I don't give a fukk about marvel owning themselves. If you don't care about the writers & wanna ignore decades of consistent character development you shouldn't even be in the conversation.

-Simple fact. If I had those kind of powers I'd be killing the same type of people he does, just with less collateral damage.

You are just self admitting in print.
you are a homicidal maniac.

That is incapable of being trusted. Especially if you come into power.

-Do you know the definition of trust? I'd be very trustworthy if I came into power because my intentions would be clear.

-Some people would call me a maniac, others would call me a hero. That's a reality of the world we live in.

Once they mentioned new xmen.

I'm good.

This whole villain fascination needs to stop.

He is a villain. Not a hero or martyr stop.

____ magneto.

One thing I miss about these legacy properties is that nobody seems to want to write stories about heroes versus villains anymore. It’s like modern writers don’t understand good versus evil anymore, or they think they’re too enlightened to tell a good versus evil story.

You have a lot of writers that try too hard to be Watchmen with everything they do, so none of the heroes are heroes anymore (they’re just sad, broken failures), and they try to redeem EVERY villain they can.
This leaves the protagonists with nobody interesting left to fight against.

You can see it with the way modern writers have handled Juggernaut, Sabertooth, Mystique, and even Apocalypse.

Apocalypse as the end all be all.
Was huff after xfactor 63.
so all that age of apocalyspe bullshyt sent this title to the ppibt of no return. Where they continue to market villains instead of heros.

Apocalypse put a virus on a baby. You can not redeem him.

It is sheer ignorance and uneducated hacks. Being allowed to have a part in an industry. That used to have complete checks and balances.
so this never occurred in this extreme manner. Yet the crack epidemic change of.
or loss of moral values. Has ruined comics beyond repair. As comics lost their way trying to chase bullshyt trends. Instead of finding the next creatives.
to makeup for disrespecting the image boys.
that the image boys all gave a resounding fukk you.
to dc snd marvel the same day as a collective in person and changed history. In that marvel and dc completely lost their way.
as far as judging talent in every creative aspect of comics.

So instead of finding real pencilers. They got uneducated Jim lee hack copycats and trash wanna be over hatched Scott Williams inks. Who never went to comic school too.
You got trash story telling centered around villains. Or even worse completely making said hero into a gelding. Without paying attention to the fact. No one wants to see another death of superman or break batman's back.
While constantly undermining every hero.

It Is the point of no return.

hes been on a fukk around train in the krakoa era. unlike the others, they have no intention of pretending hes a decent person

These panels are still so powerful.
The closeup of a. faaroq.
is still an all time great single closeup panel of a villain. It is iconic.

Even though Claremont is the goat, I feel like the book lost something the time Jean Grey returned to life and Magneto became one of the good guys. You still had good stories after that (Mutant Massacre, Genosha, Inferno) but there's something so classic about the X-men fighting Magneto. The Claremont/Byrne X-men collaboration is still the GOAT comic run in my eyes.

@parallax Even though I joke about Cyclops taming her, I also feel like Emma Frost is lowkey more interesting as a villain. With Xavier, Jean, and Psylocke already on the team, having another telepath feels almost redundant.
White+Queen.jpg

She was a cold-blooded killer in her first appearances.

I just miss that hero/villain dynamic that stories used to have.
I remember seeing a video of a dog watching Star Wars, and the dog was actually shook when Darth Vader pulled up.
A dog is able to understand what a villain is, but Hollywood doesn't get it.

It feels like Hollywood writers these days are so morally lacking, narcissistic, and pretentious that they can't even put themselves in a headspace to write virtuous characters anymore. That's how we got such a trash Luke Skywalker in the Last Jedi instead of the Jedi grand master the fans actually wanted.

Well Peter David supplied what should not have been supplied.
When Jean was brought back in xfactor.
Which was needed in the marketplace.
So Claremont Did not supply that story in full.
Yet the decision to bring Jean back was much needed at the time.

As Jean actually was killed because she committed mass genocide.
As Phoenix tho.

yet the character committed mass genocide.
To the point the editors gave Claremont and Byrne I believe an ultimatum. That they had to figure out something else or Jean was dying in the pages. Which I believe they were against. Yet I believe shooter as rhe editor. Made them realize she committed genocide.
To send jean .
off the comic panels in the sky.
till xfactor 1 written by David.

Also I moss the villain dynamic in which you speak. As Magneto and Emma Frost being xmen is xmen of stoopid pills. That I have refused to read it since Jim lee left. Plus anytime after that
It seems they were taking stoopid pills

along with the most trash hack artwork as well.

Art Barr

Parker lewis mental note.

That dog who understand Vader video
Maybe the best dog youtube vid of all time.
The one where the two pitties.
I believe a male and female pittie. get mad at scar in the Lion king.
After framing simba .
for mufasa's death is a hilarious watch.
that rivals the Vader one as well.

I agree with you that the villains are what drives my interest in comics and thats something lacking for a long time. That villain is supposed to push the hero to the edge mentally and physically. Everyone doesnt need to be an anti hero or
Misunderstood. Apocalypse, mr sinister, and magneto are my top 3 favorite villains with Thanos later being added to that list. Agreeing with a villain is just accepting that you would be a monster too if in the same situation and had the same powers.

The Magneto Malcom X comparison stuck out with me the most because i would be on the hunt for any family that benefitted from slavery

Literally saw human beings as a lesser species

Like I said breh

Xavier and Mags were both flawed human beings that have done things to the detriment of their people.

Magneto was completely ok with committing genocide on multiple occasions.

Charles has lied to the X-Men their entire lives, including never telling the X-Men that the team we know as the 2nd Generation of X-Men (Storm, Nightcrawler, Logan, Colossus, etc.) was actually the THIRD team.
I stumbled on this thread looking for something else but you gotta explain this one...
