It's not jazz, blues or even rock. Before one you come in on the culture of hiphop and its positives, just stop. Hip hop defines itself by the negative. B-boy culture and battle rapping aren't the popular aspects of the genre today and hasn't been since the late 80's. Since then just 25 years of glorifying the worst of inner city culture.
