Allegedly Kal-El is Horus/Heru so I'm not sure it's a cac argument. Also Goku comes from Hanuman the Monkey king of India. That's where Sun Wu Kong comes from.

fukk outta here, half the shyt about superman's character didn't exist when he first started he's not based on heru. Hanuman is not Sun Wu Kong. Sun Wu Kong is a literally a character from a novel not mythological or religious diety. Hanuman is an actually Hindu god people worship. Only thing they have in common is they both were monkeys.

Only the original Dragon Ball is based on the monkey king, which is why he had the magic pole and flew around that cloud. That's literally the only thing he took from Sun Wu Kong's mythology.

I stand corrected. I could've sworn the journey west was partly based on the connection between Hinduism and Buddhism.
