If Geno Smith doesn't get a chance in NYJ to start, in spite of the poor circumstances he was given, including one of the worst receiver casts in football, I'm done with the Jets. In 2013 all Geno had was a disaffected Santonio Holmes. In 2013 all he had was a groggy Decker. Kerley doesn't even play on the Jets anymore, yet this is a player Geno is being judged for playing with. The same is true of Cumberland, whom isn't even as good as the UDFA the Jets are playing now as TE.

Does Geno suck and can't improve? Maybe, but I've seen improvement from him. Somehow though he hasn't been afforded the same luxuries as many QBs taken in the 1st and 2nd to start, learn and progress. Geno needs to get his chance.

Can you eat a dikk? You don't even post in football threads, yet you're in here trolling mine. fakkit.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. As for trolling and not posting in football threads I post all over these boards including in football threads.

As for Geno :yeshrug: he'll get another shot at some point. Might not be with the Jets though.

Hold up. There are actually Jets fans out there that think they'd have done better this season with Geno?
He may or may not, and from a long term standpoint, that's the biggest disappointment of the year. Now long term we have no idea who will be the QB of this team and we won't know if Geno coulda been the guy given what we have on offense (and what we still could add).

That said, Geno's done here. If he figures it out it's gonna be somewhere else, but I don't think fans wanna see him again

Geno's got all the abilities to be a good player. Good arm, mobile, just needs a good organization and staff to coach him up. If Tony didn't still have 2-3 years on him I'd def take a look at Geno, he's def got upside.

Exactly. He'd do well in the Cowboys' organization with their weapons and a spread offense.
