To me yeah. You can't kill Freddy so what's the point of fighting him? Meanwhile you got a chance against Leatherface but you gonna have to put in some work on him. Freddy is like Jason once he's after you, you may as well kill yourself cause you can't kill him. He just keeps coming at you.
Just Grab him and wake up in the real world then beat the crap out of him. After you kill him he will go back to hell.

That's the thing about Freddy movies though, every time someone is fighting him in dreamworld, somebody else is trying to wake em up. Even if you do kill him he'll still come back he's magical. Leatherface is just fukking crazy.

and in your dreams you can be anything you want... how come people with not on some matrix shyt and just dream up whatever they wanted.... They could dream they had the same powers as Kruger, or they could dream that they were indestructable. All types of shyt. Instead they just ran like bytches. Even in Elm Street part 3, they still were not creative enough. Even In Freddy vs. Jason, Jason should've been able to conjur up some sick shyt with all the people he merked, instead.. this nikka is afraid of water in his dreams.

Isn't the key to beating Freddy ignoring him completely? I'm not entirely up on my Nightmare flicks but I think just flat out refusing to acknowledge him will force him to go away

robert englund killed that role, i mean of course duke got corny after part 3 but he was evil as fukk and owned that role especially in part 1 and 3.
SMH @ them doing a remake in 2012 with a midget playing freddy and instead of utilizing the use of modern CGI and special effects to make crazy ass dream sequences and crazy ways to kill his victims, they do the typical real life setting shyt for the dreams/nightmares and have freddy kill every one of the teenagers with a simple razor glove through the chest on some simple ass shyt.
@ the utter lack of any imaginative deaths and making him into another generic killer with a sharp object.
