Why would i say that if i just said specific people.

All the victims of sexual assault, battery, carjacking, robbery etc are not gangbangers. The homicides perhaps, but even then there are innocent bystanders who get caught in the crossfire.

I saw a bruh getting nightstick'do by some pigs in the train station(NY) and started running to pull the cops off em. And one of my friends(I was with a group) chased me down and grabbed me when I was almost there. I understood why he did it. He told me do you think someone would do that dumb selfless shyt for you(not verbatim, just the jist). And it made me mad. Because you can't stop this shyt unless you do something.

If you took all gang activity out of violent crime stats, you'd be left with sensationalism, outside of sexual assault.

Because I'm honestly at a point that if I happened to be in the vicinity of some shyt like this taking place I'm jumping in physically. I'd feel like a traitor to see some shyt like this happening in front of me and not do anything. Let me shut up.
