@Worthless Loser in terms of charisma how would you rank Reagan, Clinton, Obama, and Trump from greatest to least greatest?
Trump would be on the bottom of the list because he lacks the traits of a charismatic person that others have. He's not self-aware. He doesn't have self-control. He's not humble. He's not easily approachable. He doesn't really want to listen to what other people has to say as he tends to talk over them quickly. He bullies and manipulates people as a way of building rapport with others instead of treating them well showing generosity and sincerity towards them. His sense of humor is good, but he has zero sense of humor about himself and hates being made fun of. He's not a good speaker, but he is good enough to speak in "dumbed down, common man" type way that makes people drawn to him.
But, he is very good at exhibiting charm (even if it's superficial charm at times) and enthusiasm in a playful manner, and if he's in a comfortable social environment he's very good at engaging with people in a way that makes you drawn to him. And he does speak with his hands and body language a lot and even though he's made fun of the way he uses his hands when he speaks, it is something charismatic people tend to do to get people drawn into them. It's partly why he excels at rallies. If you take away Trump's bigotry and pathological lying, he's a guy you could joke with and talk shyt with.
Most of the traits that Trump lacks, Reagan, Clinton and Obama have in some form. Plus they were great speakers. It's tough to rank them, but I would probably put Reagan below Clinton and Obama only because they were able to use their charisma, and traits of their charisma to appeal to a broader range of people like chameleons. They, especially Clinton could be in the deep south engaging with a bunch of white people, then go to a black group and engage with them in a different way, with both groups ultimately having the same opinion of Clinton when he leaves even if they may disagree with him on topics. This was something that pundits have noted about Clinton.
