You're insinuating that without Clyburns primary cosign, black people would have voted for Trump in the general election vs Bernie.

Thats as disingenuous as it is dumb
No, I'm just talking about the primary. Why he wasn't the nominee. You guys are jumping to the general ignoring why he didn't win the nomination.

Bernie lost. He ran twice with no plan or focus on winning the south (ie black people) and that was game over. You cannot win the dem OR Republican nomination without taking the south - specifically black southerners for dems, white evangelical southerners for republicans.

Bernie didn't lose tho! The primary was rigged and it was proven it was rigged and the DNC even apologized to Bernie but it all was swept under the rug. There's plenty of articles. Bernie was going to beat Hilary but they were pushing for Hilary

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Democrats had no choice but to torpedo Bernie’s run. Had he won, there would’ve been an uptick in progressive candidates winning seats in congress. That’s what really spooked the establishment. ALL of their seats would’ve been in danger.

And Tulsi Gabbard wouldn’t have gone to the dark side.

At the end of the day tho, this is Obama’s fault. He chose Biden for political reasons. Then he made Hillary Clinton Secretary of State on his second term, paving the way for her to run.

The DNC wanted Clinton in 2008, but Obama’s wave was too strong to brake. So by promised to get behind her in 8 years. And Obama helped.

Democrats and the liberal media also helped Trump in the 2016 primaries. They WANTED him to be the nominee because they thought it would be an easy lick. Clinton ignored the Midwest and got cocky.

He couldn't stand to do it.

Bernie gets sick of black folks real fast if you pay attention. He didn't have the patience to play the pander game like traditional Dems. You can catch a glimpse of it during his Breakfast Club interview, especially when he's asked about reparations:mjlol:

Bernie put all his chips on Killer Mike being his negro voice, probably assuming that Killer Mike was more popular with black folks than he actually is

I remember this. Bernie had a really patronizing tone towards black people as if we were low-information voters.

The way I look at is if you cannot get voters to support you and if you cannot get other politicians to support you, then you shouldn't have gotten picked. Jim Clyburn came through in the clutch and saved Biden's ass (he better send Clyburn a Christmas gift ) because Biden built up enough rapport with him. It's telling that NOBODY spoke up for Bernie like that.

With that said, if Bernie was ten years younger, and was 72 right now instead of 82, this would be his time to get in there.
