One problem with that theory..Hart and Michaels didn't lead to any resurgence at all. They never did. They were the start of smaller wrestlers getting more attention in the WWE..well actually Macho Man and Steamboat were but Hogan was still give alot of spotlight during Macho Man's title run.
A Bryan vs Punk WM main event should happen one day but I would rather see Bryan face Lesnar for the WWE title at Mania XXX. As for the rest of the roster? No one really shows the will to step up...Cesaro is being held down for whatever reason....Blandy is just coasting and doing wild interviews...Cena is garbage all around....the tag division is not a priority without Bryan and Kane holding the belts...who knows how long until they give Reigns and Ambroise the FULL Green Light....Paige is long overdue for time on television interacting with Naomi/AJ/Nattie...they're still fukking around with Cody and Sandow..Sheamus is VERY boring.....the endless ads..the constant mentioning of Cena in charities like he's the ONLY star on the roster who does it is annoying..Tyson Kidd being put over by Bryan and Punk in interviews and on television but Cripple H not giving ONE SINGLE fukk about it. Etc. There are plenty of things that need to be cleaned up and made right.
