I’m good on them. More interested in what this new trilogy do.
Yup. No thanks. Luckily this is just him talking and I don’t see it being an actual thing. Just a nice sound byte for an interview.

Nolan is on the outs with WB for one, and two, he said all he wanted to say about Batman. The man told a beginning middle and end story. Anything more is godfather 3 territory.

I don’t see the new WB regime forking over the amount of money to get them back in his good graces. They’re tightening their belts and they already have at least two batmen running around for the foreseeable future.

To say nothing of the fact they already gave Matt reeves the keys to the kingdom and bringing in another auteur with even more power just sounds like a cluster cuss

I don't even see how this would work, especially with the story he told in trilogy. Unless they want to add to the Frank Miller story, which would have to include a heavy dose of JGL.

Dudes can feel however they want to feel about “Emo Batman”, but Pattinson/Reeves restored the same feeling I had when I watched those B:TAS episodes on Fox Kids back in the day.

Nolan’s films were great for the time they came out, and honestly, the saga ended just fine. Now let’s allow for another director to usher in their iteration.

Yeah wasnt feeling it.
Dude was wack sauce.
Honestly just convinced that most people who prop this up as a detective movie watch little if any actual detective movies.

This was some dora the explorer shyt. It has wings.... is it a bird? what kind of bird? a penguin? maybe its a bat? :jbhmm:

Just awful back and forths throughout and hopes that the audience would manufacture tension on their behalf or something.....

I think the bat stans wouldnt accept a bad movie here. On first watch i liked the first hour then became detached from the story as it went on. Didnt like the riddler character, too much Seven and Zodiac, Gordon asking Batman every five seconds what some clue means. On second watch I was so bored I couldnt even finish it. And I thought i would like it more on the 2nd watch but total opposite.

I’m more excited for the Pattinson sequel than I would be for another TDK tbh. Love what they’re doing, and TDK is my favorite Batman movie (The Batman rewatch pending)
Seen the Batman several times and it’s my number one. For a lot of reasons but mostly the emotional thread it weaves with Bruce and the clear PTSD he’s dealing with re: his parents
