***looks thru the crowd and sees mostly blog-type niccas, whites & asians***

and i bet when the show was over, they went to some pizza spot on a busy avenue in the middle of the slums and nobody knew who the hell they were.

this stuff is decieving. we're in an era where anybody can book a nice show in any city if the location is safe enough and the show is promoted properly towards the target audience. dudes like lil b, kendrick lamar, etc, etc have gotten good money doing shows up here and other cities where their music is virtually non-existent.

*makes hand megaphone* Stop Hating

everyone except you and a few other losers who take this shyt way to serious are bumpin keef. Idgaf if he was a 16 year old murderer or not. I heard bang and 3hunna before I even knew anything about him

I walk outside in the morning, someone bumpin keef
My nikka come scoop, he bumpin keef
We get to the spot, even more keef
The nikka that live next to the spot bumpin keef

The music is good and gets the party goin! This nikka is buzzin harder than anyone right now but y'all actin like he gon go away in 2 weeks :childplease:  :stopitslime: it's not gon happen. So just sit back and :sadbron: while he :cook: up more piff and we :eat: and enjoy

how am i hatin?

you sound like a kid.

and i didnt say he would be going away anytime soon. did you even read my post? or did you just get upset & immediately hit reply when you realized i wasnt proppin the bul up?

and i actually said that keef will eventually catch some traction in terms of making a few hits. but theres not going to be any movement or anything of that nature outside of chicago and the internet.

the only other place where this type of music is held in any type of high regard is the south and theyre doing it better and with better beats. and contrary to popular belief, the south doesnt really get behind many non-southern artists like that. and they dont know who chief keef is yet either.

and i dont have a problem with the young buls. but people going overboard comparing these non-rappin @$$ niccas to boosie & gucci, LET ALONE PEOPLE LIKE no limit, cash money, DMX, 50 cent, etc.:whoo: but dont mind me. im just doing my job, stepping in as one of the voices of reason.

he's not selling over 50k now or 5 months from now. You can tell he's the type of artist that wont ever move units.

This.

J. Cole, Drake, Kid Cudi, Wale, & Nicki Minaj moved units because they built up their fanbases amongst people who actually buy records, which was helped with their mainstream-friendly images/music. All this "he's buzzin in the streets" "people bump his music in the hood" talk means nothing. Like Just Blaze said, the streets need a paypal account

Chief Keef is too one dimensional and radio unfriendly to ever really sell records. You can't compare him to Flocka, Gucci, Jeezy, Soulja Boy, or Future (and sure as hell not 50 :rudy:) because they all had more/bigger hits than him - and hits that had some crossover appeal. Can you imagine this nikka making a No Hands or 21 Questions? Exactly.

Soulja Boy had a dance too. That is why he was popular. If his song dropped without the dance he wouldn't have been shyt. He tried to move away from that dance shyt and his latest album went triple pebble.

I need to point out there's a difference between "sticking around" and actually having a career/being relevant.

Souljah Boy ain't really had a career in years. He's still around though. Due to the internet it's virtually impossible for rappers to completely fall off the radar nowadays, that don't mean they're relevant though.
