Homer Simpson
Superstar
No.
To not understand that ALL of these men are actors, and to interpret anything that they do in the WWE or otherwise (how they are "portrayed" ) as anything more than acting shows a larger lack of understanding.
Nothing you wrote makes sense. Braun is supposed to be a dominant monster that people are afraid of. Part of his build up included him acting like a goofy elf, he didn't even accomplish anything in the WWE yet. That buried his own character.
You're comparing it to Hogan who was already an established global superstar doing a Hollywood movie where the whole gimmick was that he was a tough guy being a babysitter.
Khali who they were completely done with at that point. If they did this when he was feuding with the undertaker you would have a point, but the whole point is they would never have done that.
Oz was a completely failed gimmick... I wonder why comparing Braun to characters that did nothing.
Again, Bundy was already established and doing a mainstream TV show. And I'm pretty sure you would want Stroman to be bigger than King Kong Bundy.
Besides that WWE in 2018 is different. Brock Lesnar is your champ. Braun could've been a legitimate challenger but he was an elf getting rammed by trucks, getting crushed in garbage trucks then walking away and losing to one F5 instead.
