skills pay the bills both of these cats got it in spades

if they retired...i would give the nod to t-craw over triple gawd

competition aside...he has belts in 3 divisions and was undisputed in one of them..but crawford is in the division that has his legacy fights...which he needs to make quickly while he is still in his prime

triple gawd prolly faced a little stiffer competition than crawford but unfortunately some fights that could have enhanced his career didnt come to pass cuz he was avoided and now he is 39..dangerous but not in prime anymore

And was lineal in 2 of them (lineal champ at 135). He was the man in 2 divisions. But 147 is the one that's going to make or break him, that I do agree

your stars are but dust on my shoes
On paper, it's gotta be Crawford for having been dominant over at least two divisions, and being a champion in a third division.

Golovkin's career cratered after the Canelo fights, which, I mean, was the biggest fight he was going to get anyways, but it's disappointing that he hasn't been in against any notable fighters since then. I can't really hold it against a 40 year old if they're looking to get easy paydays, but the legacy certainly feels a bit unfulfilled.

That's tough. Crawford not fighting any welters from PBC is what makes this debate complicated a little bit for me. At least GGG can say he fought Jabobs, Canelo 2x one of which ended in a controversial draw, Lemieux, ruined Kell, passed Hopkins as the longest reigning champion if I'm not mistaken, etc..

The more I think about it, Terence Crawford is the younger version of Gennady at this point. He desperately needs to get some PBC welters on his resume. It's inexcusable that he hasn't fought Thurman, Porter, Spence, Ugas, etc.. Every now and then I wonder if Crawford is a boogeyman.

Thurman damn near begged him for a fight and he wanted Brook instead. Sad. Real sad.

Yup, nikkas is lying to themselves if they don't think the boxing world would be pissed off as fukk, if Bud were to retire right now without them PBC fades ever happening.
Half of the youtube boxing community would be dropping think pieces evaluating his career :mjlol:
