If Big L would've been able to sign to Roc-a-fella Records, what do you think it would've been like?

Talent don’t mean shyt lol. There was no hype around Big L at all outside New York.

Talent means a lot

It's apart of what makes an artist unique. It's not the only factor but it is a huge contributing factor.

And I'm not from New York and I knew who L was and listened to his album and songs back in the day.

I remember people saying it was a group thing tho? The Wolfpack, might've been him and McGruff. Not sure, but this was the word back then. However, super sad that we didn't see it come to fruition, RIP Lamont Coleman the Great.

I blame himself and his idiot brother big lee for getting him involved in street shyt … should have stuck to what he was best at rapping instead of trying to line a nikka up that personally did nothin to him to get killed …..we as fans were robbed of more dope music from him …. He was truly lyrical to the core !!! R.I.P … fukked up to altho I wish it never happened I can’t be that mad at gee for doing what he did … it was kill or be killed in his situation point blank …..

The "family business" still would have been in the way. His loyalty was to his brothers, for better or for worse. The NFL crew story is really messed up even if you take Big L out of it.

I don’t think he ever was gonna blow up like that. At best a gold selling artist

It all depends on how he gel’d on music from other regions. If he got nikkax outside of ny on board he could have went platinum

To be honest I’m still suprised RD/Vol 1 Jay-Z became a multi platinum superstar

He was a great lyricist with a nice flow
He knew how to write great songs for both the streets and clubs
He had a unique voice
Dude was a great emcee

What do you think it would've been like if he would've signed to Roc-a-fella Records?
better production easily
