If Big L would've been able to sign to Roc-a-fella Records, what do you think it would've been like?

well we'd probably get a finished version of The Big Picture, which would've been super dope.

I remember the issue was that he couldn't sign his crew to the Roc (which made sense because it wasn't like Beans was able to do that at first). I'd think you'd get a reaction similar to Cam's Come Home with Me, but with greater acclaim.

At first when I heard Cam signed to Roc-a-fella I was a little :patrice: but after hearing the album I was :blessed: I think I would have had a similar reaction to L signing with Roc-a-fella. Around the time he passed he was still going up to Stretch and Bobbito and dropping material with DITC so it wasn't like he was even beginning to cross over yet.

It would be dope if Jay supported him and had him lead his Flamboyant Entertainment independent record label. Then give more power to DITC. Then L doing big collabs. Hardcore tho.

Rest in peace Big L forever we love you. One of the true greats.

I don’t think he ever was gonna blow up like that. At best a gold selling artist

I read that.

I couldn't see him doing pop songs, but who knows what he was capable of.

Maybe he could have made popular meaningful songs like Gangsters Paradise.

I still feel shook when I see his name knowing he passed away.

Blessings to his legacy and family.

Hopefully a great documentary or book comes out if they haven't already. I know a doc was in the works.

Word

Only song from that Cam album I liked was that Just Roc joint with Beans and Bleek

I couldn't get jiggy to Cam's new style

The beats on the album were nice but his style of rapping wasn't my thing

But L was nicer than Cam on the mic, I think L would've been up there with Jay in terms of success

Cause L knew how to make them street songs and then he could do some joints for the clubs too

I don't keep up with sales so I don't know who sales what and how much, but if any of Bleek's records have gone Gold, L would've definitely went platinum

Did Beans ever go platinum?

If Beanie went platinum, I know L would've been platinum.

L had everything it took to be on a superstar level

What? :mjtf:

Bleek sold whatever he sold just off the strength of Jay-Z

Big L had actual talent and enough charisma to gain mainstream level success
Talent don’t mean shyt lol. There was no hype around Big L at all outside New York.
